Yesterday a patient called me in pain so I met her at my office in Staten Island.Her insurance required approval for the work needed.I had her buy our $5year Emergency after hours plan & treated her .Total cost out of pocket $5.Today she called thanking me & happy.
This an Example of How we Treat our Patients on Insurance - If She had No Insurance she could've purchased an array of Discount Plans from $29- In her case if she had No Insurance "out of Pocket" would have been less than $100
